CLP Compliant Label (GHS Labels)

Dear clients,

CLP stands for the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on the Classification, Labeling and Packaging of substances and mixtures. It came into force in 2007. CLP is another piece of chemical legislation in EU you need to comply.

EU manufacturer, importer, downstream user or distributor shall label any chemical substance or mixture which is classified as hazardous and is contained in packaging. The label should be firmly affixed to one or more surfaces of the packaging containing the substance or mixture. Many EU importers might need to prepare new labels in accordance with CLP regulation and they might also request non-EU chemical companies to provide CLP compliant labels.
CLP introduces the United Nations globally harmonized system (UN GHS) for classification and labeling of chemicals into Europe. Thus CLP label is identical to GHS label in EU and also applies to countries that have applied GHS such as USA.

The attachment shows how to prepare CLP compliant label. I hope it is helpful. Should you need our help, please don't hesitate to contact us.

Note: We also provide REACH & CLP compliant SDS. For more information about CLP regulation, please go to CLP.

best regards,
Rami

Impact of EU Cosmetics Directive, REACH and CLP on Cosmetics

Cosmetics products (either raw materials or finished products) are impacted by EU cosmetics directive (Regulation EC 76/768/EEC and Regulation (EC) No 1223/2009), REACH Regulation (EC No 1907/2006) and CLP Regulation (EC No 1272/2008). Non-EU exporters/EU importers of cosmetic ingredients or finished cosmetics products have to comply with above regulations before they put cosmetics products on the EU market.

Obsolescence Management,Parts Plus

one of the Total Parts Plus online obsolescence management applications. Whether you are an expert or a novice at obsolescence management, Total Parts Plus can help. The intuitive, powerful, and user-friendly Total Parts Plus applications provide a wealth of custom user data for making informed DMS decisions and for tracking the availability of parts to manufacture your specific systems.

Parts Plus Specifics

Parts Supply Management is accomplished using the Parts Search feature. Generics, Catalog P/Ns, and Reference P/Ns can be researched. Generic, Generic/Package/Pin, and Reference P/N flagging and availability can be accessed. Replacement Catalog P/Ns, End-of-Life dates, exact Catalog P/N matches, and aftermarket generics can be determined.

Health Projection, End-of-Life Buy Status, and Custom Queries can be performed at any structural assembly level, or across your entire Bill of Materials, using the Analysis Areas. Maintenance of your loaded Bills of Materials (BOMs) can be accomplished using Data Entry area. All of these features are available through the intuitive, Java-script based web site.

Total Parts Plus uses four flag colors to classify the availability of parts. In all cases, a green flag indicates two or more silicon manufacturing sources of the specified criteria, a yellow flag indicates one silicon manufacturing source of the specified criteria, a red flag indicates that there are no silicon manufacturing sources of the specified criteria, and a blue flag indicates that the Reference P/N has incomplete attributes disallowing proper silicon manufacturing source analysis.

We are continually working to create better DMS solutions for our customers. If there are features that you wish Total Parts Plus encompassed, please do not hesitate to make a suggestion to your Total Parts Plus Salesperson @ exodus.co.il
